Investment in Local Communities​

Southline will contribute investments of more than $4 million across New Mexico and Arizona through donations, sponsorships, and partnerships with local organizations. 

Southline’s Phase 1 construction phase is projected to generate over $18 million in local tax revenue across Arizona and New Mexico, which will help fund critical public services, including education, infrastructure, and emergency response:

Pima County, AZ: $2.2 million

Cochise County, AZ: $7.9 million

Hidalgo County, NM: $6.1 million

Grant County, NM: $2.7 million

CEC Apache to Vail Upgrade Route

Southline Transmission, LLC. invites the public to participate at a public hearing before the Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee (Committee). Southline Transmission, LLC. is submitting an Application to amend the Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) granted by the Commitee in Line Siting Case No.173 (CEC 173) to obtain a CEC for the Apache to Vail Upgrade Route of the Southline Transmission Project.
